12 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 48" Telescoping Outer Boxes

This 12 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 48 inch telescoping outer box is the cap component of a two-piece adjustable corrugated shipping system. Built from ECT-32 single wall kraft corrugated board, it slides over a matching inner box to accommodate variable assembled lengths without custom tooling or additional void fill.

The adjustable fit makes this outer box well suited for long, narrow, or variably dimensioned products — including moldings, curtain rods, fishing rods, fluorescent tubes, and architectural trim. E-commerce fulfillment centers, building materials distributors, and sporting goods shippers benefit from the on-the-fly length adjustment that a fixed-dimension box cannot provide.

The full overlap (FOL) bottom construction distributes stacking loads more evenly than standard RSC flaps, improving structural integrity during transit. Each bundle contains 15 outer boxes. The matching inner box (T12448INNER) is sold separately and is required to complete the telescoping set. These boxes ship via parcel carrier.
