This smooth black polyester strapping measures 5/8" wide and is wound 2,200 feet per coil on a standard 16 x 3" core. The smooth finish is compatible with both serrated and sandpaper seals, and the coil size suits standard tensioners and sealers configured for a 16 x 3" core.
Polyester strapping is a practical alternative to steel in warehousing, manufacturing, distribution, and freight environments. It is non-corrosive, will not rust or stain load surfaces, and retains tension on loads that shift or settle during transit. Its lighter weight compared to steel strapping of comparable strength reduces handling strain during application, particularly in high-volume operations.
Each coil contains 2,200 feet of strapping, and cases are packed 2 coils each for a total of 4,400 feet per case. Case weight is approximately 42.66 lbs. This coil configuration is well suited for automated and semi-automatic strapping equipment in continuous production or palletizing lines.
